{"id":83,"date":"2019-01-30T22:00:04","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T22:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandbox-dev.utk.edu\/design\/?page_id=83"},"modified":"2019-01-30T22:00:23","modified_gmt":"2019-01-30T22:00:23","slug":"expectations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sandbox-dev.utk.edu\/design\/students\/expectations\/","title":{"rendered":"Expectations and Requirements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students who wish to participate in the Integrated Engineering Design program are expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commit to the EF437\/438 2-course sequence (3 credits fall, 3 credits spring)<\/li>\n<li>Devote 10-to-15 hours a week (class + project time)<\/li>\n<li>Learn and implement systems engineering processes<\/li>\n<li>Finish on time and within budget<\/li>\n<li>Be a good teammate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Program Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>In order to participate in the program, a student must be senior standing gall of the program year (approximately 30 hours to graduation) and:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>participating in the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program or<\/li>\n<li>has submitted an application form and been accepted by the IED Admissions Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students should note that the EF437\u2013EF 438 courses are listed as an honors sequence.
