The intention of the program was to give Engineering Fundamentals program ladies a safe place to learn hands-on skills, meet other ladies in the program, and build something for their personal use. <\/p>\n<p>Over two nights, 23 ladies participated in our Fall workshop, led by Michael Allen, on building a wooden trinket box. During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to use the miter saw, drill press, scroll saw, sander, and assorted hand tools.
