Nicole McFarlane is an expert in developing implantable sensors and devices that monitor patients and deliver medication without the need for blood draws or shots. These sensors also show promise as smaller, more efficient detectors for projects such as Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Spallation Neutron Source.
