Scott Ruoti is an expert in cybersecurity, the practice of protecting networks, devices and data from unauthorized access or criminal use. His research includes critical infrastructure security, authentication, usable key management, and the application of large language models in software development and computer science education. He also studies human-computer interaction to design effective security systems based on users’ perceptions and needs.
